Murrayfield Pub

Since 1993 the Murrayfield Pub, in Chiasso

The Murrayfield Pub is an Irish pub in Chiasso, at Via L. Favre 5, 150 metres from the station: Guinness on draught, concerts with free entry, open every day until 1am. Since 1993.

The formula

“We won’t bore you too much with explanations: there isn’t much to know anyway, and besides, you’ll have noticed that over the years the formula has stayed exactly the same. Let’s be frank: since things work so well, it would seem rather silly to complicate our lives with pointless gimmicks! So:

music, grill, beer and... music! And beer!”

The place

Inside, the horseshoe bar and the back room with its long tables; outside, the courtyard along the railway, with the stage and The Glory Ale Pub bar.

Matches on the big screen with sound, darts, table football.

“It feels like being in an early-90s time capsule.”
